How to use this case study

Coway is a South Korean brand distributed in India by Frootle India Pvt. Ltd., which also manages their Amazon presence. The four models cover ₹12,999 to ₹34,999 and claim to handle rooms from a small bedroom to a large open living space.
Our rule is the same as in the Xiaomi and Dyson HushJet case studies: every verdict comes from the brand's India website only. If a spec isn't on cowayindia.in, it's a No or Partial, regardless of what appears on Amazon or third-party sites.
A note on the AirMega Aim
The Aim's page on cowayindia.in is almost entirely images, no spec table, no CADR, no noise figure, no filter details. The Aim scores 8/20 purely because of what's missing on cowayindia.in. The Amazon India listing from Frootle India has considerably more information and is worth checking before buying.

Our read on the scores
The AirMega 150 scores highest not because it's necessarily the best purifier, but because cowayindia.in publishes the most information for it. CADR, dB range, wattage, filter type, filter life, auto mode, AQI indicator, washable pre-filter, filter indicator: all there. At ₹15,999, that's a solid level of transparency.
The Aim's 8/20 is a product page problem, not a product problem. The cowayindia.in page has no spec table at all. The Amazon India listing by Frootle India has much more. If you're considering the Aim, score it from there, not from cowayindia.in.
The Storm and 250 are both out of stock. The Storm's biggest gap on the brand site is no CADR and no dB figure, despite being marketed as a premium higher-coverage machine. The 250 is the most transparently documented of the four in one specific way: it's the only model that states its ACH assumption, listing coverage at 1, 2, and 4 ACH. That's good practice. The problem is that the headline 930 sq.ft. figure is at 2 ACH. At 5 ACH, the 250 covers roughly 372 sq.ft., well under what the headline implies for Indian pollution conditions.
The 930 sq.ft. claim on the AirMega 250
The 250's spec table is unusually transparent: 1,860 sq.ft. at 1 ACH, 930 sq.ft. at 2 ACH, 465 sq.ft. at 4 ACH. For cities like Delhi or Mumbai, we'd want 5 ACH minimum. At that, the 250's CADR of ~249 m³/h covers roughly 372 sq.ft. Warranty: real, but not on cowayindia.in
Coway is associated with 7-year warranty coverage in India (5 years on motor + 2 on registration). This is consistent across Amazon India listings by Frootle India. But it doesn't appear on any product page on cowayindia.in. We've marked it as partial rather than confirmed. Before buying, check the Amazon listing or confirm with Frootle India directly.

The one to buy right now
For the models currently available, the 150 is the clearer choice. CADR, noise, wattage, H13 True HEPA, washable pre-filter, filter indicator: all confirmed on cowayindia.in. The 303 m³/h CADR is clear for a ~300 sq.ft. room at 5 ACH. No app, no TVOC, no night mode stated, but no missing information either.

The cheapest option and an interesting format (it is also an oscillating fan). But the cowayindia.in product page is essentially a gallery. No spec table, no CADR, no dB, no filter details. Scores 8/20 purely because of missing information on the brand site.

Worth watching, if it comes back
The Storm has a genuine differentiator: a 30mm HEPA filter that Coway describes as one of the thickest in its class. Night mode and auto mode are confirmed. The gaps (no CADR, no wattage) pull the score down. Currently unavailable.

Most transparent spec sheet, read the ACH footnotes carefully
The 250 is the only model in the range that states its ACH assumptions. CADR, noise, wattage, Smart and Sleep modes are all published. The caveat is the 930 sq.ft. headline: that's at 2 ACH. At 5 ACH for Indian conditions, it covers roughly 372 sq.ft. Good machine if sized correctly; currently out of stock.
